COLONIAL PRODUCE.
Auckland. — The HesoM of the 18th says, the week has closed with little alteration in busiuoss ; au average amount has been done, but with tho bare market which we have had lately, traders have naturally been cautious in making pni chases. Quotations continue at £22 to £24 for silk-dressed flour, seconds £16. Sharps and bran have been raised, the former to £7 per ton, and bran to Is. per bushel. A parcel of 8 tons of Canterbury flour in sacks sold at auction yesterday at £16 2s. Gd. and upwards. The market is well supplied with all kinds of grain. A large shipment of barley has arrived per 'Fawn.' Oats are in fair supply at 3s. 3d. to 3s. 6d. per bushel. There was not a full market of sheep this week, those in sold well ; half-bred, from 2 ls. to 255. 6d. each; merino wethers, from 10s. "to 17a. ; lambs, 123. each. There wore a few pigs which sold at good prices. Wellington. — Flour is without alteration, but we do not anticipate any reduction in price for the next two or three months until the shipments from California and Chili, where the harvest is sure to have been the heaviest yet known, shall begin to influence the Australian market. Oats are still at a minimum figure, and may be be quoted at 3s. per bushel for a shipment. Maize is soarce, but supplies have arrived per ' Fanny Fisher,' which will meet th& wants of the trade ; ss. to os. 6d. per bushel is its present value. — Independent. Nelson. — Messrs. Rod and Honnsell quote fine flour at £24 per ton ; Mr. D. Moore quotes Redwood's best Wairau at current rates. Wheat, per bushel, from Bs. to 95. ; barley, ss. 6d. to 6s. Oats, 3s. Cd. to 3s. 9d. Potatoes, £4 10fl. to £5 10s. per ton. Lyttelton. — Graiu continues to attract attention, and prices are firm at last week's quotations. Reports of increased rates having been paid during tho week, could only refer, we thiuk, to small parcels. The following quotations refer to caßh transactions : — Good wheat is worth 7s. 3d. ; oats, 2s. and 2s. 3d. ; barley, 3s. 9J. and 4s. Good samples of barley are becoming scarce.
