MAIL NOTICE.

I Mails will be closed at the Chief Post Office, j as under :■?— For Nelsou, Wellington, and Southern Ports, and for the Australian Colonies, (via Wellington and Panama Trunk steamer,) per s.s. ' Airedale,' on Sunday, the 19th April, at 10 a.m. For Auckland, by s.s. * Rangatira,' on Wednesday, 22nd April, (expected.) For Wanganui and Wellington, by the s.s. ' Rangatira,' on Saturday, 26th April (expected.) For Auckland and Napier, and for Australian Colonies, by s.s. • Tarauaki,' on Tuesday the 28th April. The English mails are due this month on the I 28th instant. | The public are especially warned that the desi patch day of the Suez mail will alter every month in future, (owing to the interchange of thirteen mails yearly by chat route) and that tlio stuaruer j leaving for Auckland on or about the llth of the I month, cannot be depeuded upon to couvey them ' in time. ' Mails close and arrive at the Chief Post Office, New ' Plymouth, as under : — i For Paten as opportunity offers, by steam via Wuugauui [ or Wellington. For Oueuungn, Auckland, nndJUistraiian Ports, per contract steamer on the 28th of every month; arriving at New Plymouth, on the 4th. For Nelson, Murlborough. Wellington, tbe West Coast and Southern Provinces of New Zealand, per contract steamer, on the 4th of every month ; arriving on the 29th.
