MAIL NOTICE.

Mails close and arrire at the Chief Poat Office, New Plymouth, as under :— For Patea as opportunity offers, by steam via Wanganui or Wellington. For Onehunga, Auckland, and Australian Ports, per contract steamer on the 28th of erery month; arriving at New Plymouth, on the 4th. For Nelson, Marlborough, Wellington, the West Coast and Southern Provinces of New Zealand, per contract steamer, on the 4th of every mouth ; arriving on the 28th. For West Indies, Great Britain, the Continents of America and Europe, Ac., via Panama and Australian Colonies, per contract steamer, on the 4th of everj month ; arriving on the 29th. This steamer being liable to 21 hours' detention at Nelson, to await the arrival of the British mail. ! Mails will be closed at the Chief Post Office, as under : — For Onehnnga, and Auckland, per 8.8. •Airedale,' This Day, (expected.) For Hawera and Patea, overland, on, Monday, 13th April. For Wanganui and Wellington, per s.s.
