riTHE New Plymouth Provincial Council 1 having voted fifteen to be fired for by the Taranaki Militia, Volunteers, and Military Settlers, they will be competed for by the Militia and' Volunteers, commencing at 10 o^lock, a.m., on the sth June, 18C5, at the Militia Riflo Range, weathor and th^e state of the Province permitting. The Military Settlers will fire at their respective posts on tho above date, or as soon after as targets can be provided for them. Captains of tho Militia and Volunteers will choose" tho markers, and attend on the days of firing to assist Captain Cumming in carrying out tho terms undermentioned. Captain" Stapp, JtTieutenant Clarke, Instructor of Musketry,, and Sergeant Gloag, T.M.S., will attend the firing of the Military Settlera^the «tsp latter to\assist the captains and officers commanding companies, who will M e "responsible tor the correctness of the/return of the firing.
