ARRIVED. February 12.— Ariel, biigantine, 138 tons, White, from Wellington. W. Weston, agent. SAILED. Febmary 13. — Ariel, brigantine, White, for Nelson. Passenger — W. Weston. The ship Afiican, Captain Gibson, arrived in haibour on Monday, January 31st, after a tedious passage of 111 days from Plymouth. She brings 110 passengers — Auckland Register, February 6. The ship Phoenix, Captain Robert Brown, after a protracted passage of 114' days from Livei pool, came into harbour on Fiiday last. She brings an addition of 136 souls to our population. — Ibid. The ship Wild Duck, Captain Bishop, one of | Messrs Shaw, Savill, & Co.'s line, auived in haibor .'from London on Satuiday, after a pleasant passage of 105 days. She has a full cargo for Wellington and Hav.ke's Bay, and 28 chief cabin and 45 second cabin passengers. Among the passengeis are Mr and Mis Puivis Russell, Mr Mantell, Wm. Bowler, jun., and Mr J. Smith's family, who have returned to the Colony. One birth and'no deaths occurred duiing the voyage. — Wellington Spectator, Feb. 1.
