'BRYANT—AI'S'Tf.V The wedding wri;s celebrated at St. -Mary’s Church, Geraldine, on Thursday afternoon, of Rita, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs A. T. Austin, of Orari, and Albert, son of Mr "and Mrs G. H. Bryant, Talbot Street, Geraldine. • Canon J. F. Coursey performed the ceremony. The bride who was given away by her father, looked very dainty in her beautifully cut gown of white chantilly lace and georgette. The sleeveless bodice which was fitting to the knees, had a short fur trimmed jacket, and the skirt which was fully flared fell in graceful folds to the ground. Her long embroidered tulle veil wh-i-eh formed a train, fell from a juliet cap of pearls and orange blossom buds, and an armlet of arum lilies completed her charming toilette. The bridesmaids were the Misses Fthel and .loan Austin (sisters of the Bride), and Miss Linda Mills (cousin of ■ tlie bridegroom I. They ’ wore .early Victorian frocks of silk net in shades of pale marigold and green.Their long lifting bodices were defined at -the waistline with rows of rucked ribbon, and the very full skirls were composed of rucked ribbon frils.
