Hockey Match In a friendly hockey mutch, played at Fairlie on Thursday, a Geraldine team defeated the home club by six goals to four, after an interesting and enjoyable game. Term Holidays The primary and secondary departments of Die Geraldine District High School closed down yesterday for the term holidays. The school will rc-'open in a fortnight’s time. The Weather The spell of sunny weather, which has been experienced during the last week, was broken yesterday when the sky became overcast and the conditions colder. Persona! Air and Airs J. Scott, "The ’Willows," Geraldine, have returned home after lining absent for six weeks on holiday.
