TEMUKA PICTURES. XORMA SHEARER IX "THE LAST OF MRS CIIEYXEY." Xorma Shearer, Metro-Cioldwyn-Mayer's popular and beautiful star, has one of the best roles of her career in "The Last of Mrs Cheyney," a remarkable screen adaptation of Frederick Lonsdale's famous stage play, which will be shown at Temukn tonight. Played with a rapid, airy tempo, the production is ■ one of sheer entertainment. Miss Shearer makes "Mrs Cheyney" a delightful, amusing and lovable character. Uasil Kathbone, recruited from (ho London and Xew York siage, where he has reianed as popular matinee idol for many seasons, plays Lord Hilling. Particular attention was paid to the casting of their ralher difficult play, for each one of (lie players is an artist of established ability. Among' them are the beautiful Hedda Hopper, Moon Caroll, Madeline Seymour, Cyril Chadwiek, Finch Smiles, and Maude Turner. Excellent supporting pictures will also be screened.
