"Uur annual Show again proved 10 l;c a great success, and while the number oi' entries was not quite up to t)ie previous year, the standard of excellence was exceedingly high, and several of the judges referred in very complimentary tonus to the splendid quality and condition of tlie exhibits in tlieir respective .sections. "During the year additional light horse lines were provided; also several new cattle and sheep pens. This must be considered highly satisfactory and very gratifying to members. "During the year the leases oi both the old and present showgrounds expired, and fresh leases we're arranged for verms of five years from Ist April, l'K'.O, at HO 10s per annum for 10 acres freehold, and £:;o 5s per annum for 2 0 acres Grazing only. "it. is with deep regret, that we record the recent death of Air AI. 11. AlcLeod, a past president and for many years a member of our committee, and also a class steward. The late Air AlcLeod was always a staunch supporter of our .Association. We lender our .sincere sympathy to Airs AlcLeod and relatives in tlieir sad loss. "Removal from our district was responsible for (he loss to Ihe Association of an ex-president, in the person of Air I). 11. i'aterson, who for many years was a member of our executive and at all times manifested a keen interest in our Association's welfare.
