ADVERTISING NZ IMEAT MEAT PRODUCERS BOAiRD’S ACTIVITIES. The New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board, having before it the fact that the Dominion is staadily increasing its output of lambs, has been using every means to erea te a still further demand in the IJ.omc markets. Important extension? > of its advertising activities have been inaugurated by the Board and. a very interesting and valuable report from its London nit nagor was recently received. Therein he inter alia said: —“The Meat Board its the first body to exploit advertising in the butchers’ shops and becauise of this have a wonderful response from the retailer. We lna\w* received, many letters from butchcjrs this season complimenting us oa our advertising campaign ami informing us how it had helped them to increase their trade in New Zealalnd meat.” The Board hss felt for some time, however, that there mu st b« a connecting link between retail shops and. its London office, :and it has, therefore, decided to 'engage a travelling representative to continually visit retailers through the United Kingdom, with a view to* specially extending the trade im Ntew Zealand mutton and lamb.
