CALEDONIAN SPORTS.
*1 AT TEMUKA OX THURSDAY. The fortieth annual gathering of the Temuka Caledonian Society will be held in Victoria Park, Temuka, Thursday. Excellent entries have (*een received in practically all the events, twelve entries having been received for the handicap standing chop, and thirteen entries in quite a number of other events. The programme is a very varied one, and should the weather be favourable, is sure to attract a large attendance of the general public. The committee have arrangements well , in hand, and the public are assured that the events will be got off strictly to time. The first event is scheduled for 11.30 a.m., and the final at 4 p.m. There are altogether 44 events on the programme. The programme. which was printed at the Temuka Leader Office, is now on sale.
