FUNERAL.
THE LATE MR. W. S. MASLIN. The funeral of the late Mr W. S. Maslin, .who died at his residence, St. Kilda, Dunedin, on Tuesday, at the age of 79, took place at the Geraldine Cemetery yesterday morning at 10.30. There was a large attendance of the public, and many beautiful wreaths were sent. The Rev. J. Southern conducted the burial service at the graveside. The late Mr Maslin was a wellknown figure in Geraldine many years ago, and represented the district in Parliament. He was also Mayor of Geraldine. An obituary will appear in this journal at a later date.
