Twenty-fire members of the Tenuika branch of tlm Mothers’ Union journeyed to Tinisiru on, .Wednesday, when they met the members of the Waimate and Tiniaru branches at St. Mary’s Church. In the morning a service was conducted by Archdeacon Julius, and the mem hers met in the afternoon at the schoolroom, where Mrs Watkins of Christchurch, addressed them on her travels abroad and her cxperk once with the Mothers Union in England, Afterwards afternoon' tea was handed .round, Mrs Nelham .Watson returning thanks, for < the hospitality extended to the Teniaka members. Canterbury, and has only just lately been arranged, though it is intendeds lo hold' it each year, for the mem berk of the branches to meet at Timai'u.
