FRACAS IN A BAR, TWO MEN BEFORE THE COURT At the Temuka Magistrate’s Court on Saturday morning, before Messis W. F. Evans and J. B. Sinclair, J’s.P. William Garforth and Cornelius Daly were charged that they did behave in a disorderly manner in tbe bar of the Boyal Hotel on tbe 11th February. Both defendants pleaded not guilty. Constable. Kearney deposed that at about 0.57 p.m. on the previous evening he whs in the vicinity of the Royal Hotel and ho heard a commotion in tbe public bar. He saw accused on the floor and Daly was underneath. He separated the two of them, and each accused the other of starting the affair. Another min was also arrested for drunkenness.
