BY BUSINESS MEN’S ASSN. SPECIAL “WEEKLY PRESS” • ISSUE. A special meeting of the Temuka Business Men’s Association was held on Thursday morning to consider a proposition placed before them by Mr ColWngs, representative of the “Weekly Press.” There were present Messrs T. . Knight (president), W. F. Evans, H. B. Strange, A. E. Smith, G. H. Clements, J. Davis, A. D. Cameron, and the secretary (Mr B. Hughes). An apology J was received for the absence of Mr S. Goddard: The proposal put forward 'was to make a Temuka issue of the “Weekly Press,” with Jour pages of illustrations and four pages of advertisements and write-up, and the executive were unanimously in favour of the scheme, the issue to be published on the 17th March next. "" 1 The, “Weekly Press” official photographer is to come to ..Temuka on Friday and Saturday, and take photographs of the town, and also country scenes.
