SACKED CONCERT IN TOWN HALL.

There was a good audience at the Geraldine , Town Hall on Sunday evening to hear the above baud which, with the help of local vocal talent, gave a very tine concert of sacred music. The programme opened with a march, “Invercargill,’ played with plenty of spirit, and this was followed by a selection, “Clarendon,’’ which- was wbll received. Nurse Rogersou gave a song, and Mr C, Gimsou followed, both singers being applauded. “Pierce Raged the Tempest o’er the Deep,” was next given by the baud, and Miss Willoughby then sang. “Eventide,” by the band was well received, as was a song by Mr Willoughby. The band concluded the programme with two well played pieces, “Rock of Ages” and “Never Despair.”
