TEMUKA CLUB. On Saturday a men's tour .ball bogey handicap was played on the links for Miss 'Guild’s trophy. The following are the best cards handed in:—C. Fraser and W. Veitch 5 up, G. Grant and J. Smart 3 up, A. G'aikl and B. Edwards all square, R. 'Malcolm and W. .Cartwright 1 down, M. McLeod and R. Taylor 1 ■down, 0. Stephens and R. Lee 1 down'. The ladies .played a two-ball foursome for trophies donated .by Misses Slattery and iDavidson. The host cards were:—Mrs Marshall and Miss Scrimshaw 90, Miss F. Bremner and Mrs Cartwright 97, Mls« H. Bremner ami Miss Oldlield 100, Miss Grigs and Miss Warning 100. A much appreciated afternoon tea was provided and dispensed by Mrs D. Grant.
