WEDDING.
AUSTIN—HARRIS. A pretty wedding was solemnised at St. Peter’s Church, Temuka, on Tuesday last, between Maurice Tyrrell, eldest sou of Mr and Mrs John Austin, Temuka, and Winifred Louisa, second daughter of Mr and Mrs A. Harris, Temuka. The Rev. G. Nelham Watson performed the ceremony, and Miss H. Comer presided at the organ. The bride, who was charmingly attired in a wedding dress of chenille embossed georgette, and carried a bouquet of narcissi, fresius, chrysanthemums and fern, was given away by her father, and Avas attended by Misses Myrtle Austin, Hazel Harris and Myrtle Harris as bridesmaids, avlio Avore figured satin and georgette of mauve, pink and blue. Mr Arthur Harris, brother of the bride, Avas best man. The bride’s mother Avore a navy blue ensemble Avith hat to match, and the bridegroom’s mother a faAvn ensemble with hat to match. After the ceremony, a reception Avas held at the Coronation Tea Rooms, Avhere a sumptuous Avedding breakfast Avas partaken of. The happy couple left by the afternoon express to spend their honeymoon in the north.
