SALVATION ARMY.
SILVER BAND FESTIVAL,
The Temuka Salvation Army Band pulrposes (holding ' special musical festivals this week-end. On Saturday afternoon a specially arranged band will parade the mlain street and play several marches, etc.; also at night at 7.15 o’clock. It has been arranged lor Envoy Andrews, of Christchurch, to lead the Sunday services, which promise to be of an interesting character. During the day the band will play at various stands prior to the indoor meetings. At 3 o’clock in the afternoon ‘a special varied musical programme is to be rendered in the Army Hall, which is a very cosy building with its coke heater this time of the year. The evening service will be of a musical nature, when those attending are. assured of something out of the ordinary.- Donations for the band will be sincerely appreciated throughout this season.
