SUNDAY SCHOOL ANNIVERSARY. The anniversary of the Methodist Sunday School w&s celebrated on Sunday. The' children isang their hymns with fine effect, and presented a splendid picture of childhood on the. raised platform to the left "of the pulpit. The choir occupied seats to the right. During the morning service Olga Collins sang very nicely one oi the hymnr., and at the evening service she and Edna Dale contributed a duet. .MiS3 Effl' 3 Bryan aleo sang a solo, with chorus by the children. A Sunday afternoo n was held at 2.45, when several items were contributed by boys from the Salvation Army Boys' Home. A couple of quartettes* by four little chapsr were greatly enJoyed, ag also were, the company songs. A recitation by Gilbert Cobbledick and a solo by Joe O'Brien were not the least among the pleasing items of the afternoon. The Rev. W. H. E. Abbey sandwiched in a few stories for the ch Idren, which kept them well entertained The Anniversary was a happy one, and reflects great credit on Mrs E. Blackmore, who trained the; children, Miss E. Gibbs, who acted as organist, and on the teaching staff. A- concert and distribution prizes- will rake plrce thic evening, to which all are. cordially :nv!'o' ; .
