RACES AT TIMARU, FARES. CPECIAL FARES to Timaru Racecourse by 7.55 a.m. special train from Christchurch on 24th and 25th November, available for return direct via Washdyke on day of issue only and not available between Washdyke and Timaru, at following fares, 1/- for admission; first-class and 5(1 Temuka 4/9 and at these fares are by the 7.55 a.m. which include Orari 6/10 second-class, 3/8. Tickets available only Special Train from Christchurch. TRAIN ARRANGEMENTS. On 24th and 25th November, special train, stopping at certain stations to pick up or set down passengers will leave Christchurch for Timaru Racecouse 7.55 a.m., Temuka 11.0, and arrive Racecourse 11.27 a.m. Special Train, stopping at Washdyke to pick up, and at Temuka and Orari to set down passengers, will leave Timaru at 6.40 p.m., arriving Temuka 7.6 p.m., and Christchurch 10.13 p.m. If the Races are postponed the Special Trains will NOT run. The usual 4.35 p.m. train from Timaru to Ashburton will leave Timaru at 5.10 p.m., Washdyke 5.30 (connecting with the 5.25 p.m. Race-course-Tiraaru train) arriving Temuka 5,57 p.m. For fuller particulars see posters.
