On Saturday, 9th September, a tedm of ten men and six ladies, representing Fairlie Golf Club will play Geraldine on the Geraldine links, play commencing at 10 a.m. The following are the members of the team: —Macdonald, Sherratt, A. A. Paterson, Sheldon, Harper, Weaver, Dr. Paterson, Readdie, Kerr, Gimson; emergency, McKechnie; Mrs Kerr, Misses Sherratt, Hawke, Mcllroy, Mrs Stanley, Miss Templer; emergencies, Miss Farnie and Mrs Macdonald.
. The match Readdie v. Paterson in the second round of the championship resulted: Dr. Paterson 1, Readdie 0.
The match, C. G. G. Harper v. Capt. Weaver, in the semi-final, resulted in Weaver heating Harper, o up and 4. Captain Weaver will play the winner of Dr. Paterson v, G. Sherratt for the final of the Geraldine golf championship, and the match Is expected to be played this week.
