TEMUKA CLUB’S COMMITTEE MEETING.

FOURTH GRADE TEAM’S VISIT V TO RANGIORA. Well-attended meeting of the Committee of the Temuka Football Club was held in the Fire Brigade rooms' oh Tuesday evening, the President, Mr'J. H. Anderson, being in the chair. The principal business was in regard to the visit of the Club’s ■fourth grade team to Rangiora to play’ a return match there, Mr Clements explained that Messrs Martin; Hally, kellahan, and himself had' undertaken to provide the motor cars, and it was thought that supporters of the Club would find the petrol. About eight cases would be .wanted, Several cases were promiSfed at the meeting, and Messrs G. Clements, G. Lee and J. Henry were appointed a committee to interview friends, pf the Club, and get the balance l required.

A. hearty vote of . thanks was passed to Messrs Martin, Clements, i Kellahan,,, and ,Hally,..for providing the ears, their kindness making the crip possible. It was decided to make a levy of 5/- on each member of the team to provide,.fpr lunches on the way, and this amount will he collected from mejnbers of the team at their meeting thijs evening. The., .team will leave Temuka at 12,3$ on Friday afternoon. A short stay, will be made at Ashburton and another of an hour at Christchurch, and it is expected that Rangiora wilh) be. reached shortly after six o’clock) when the boys win be taken to heir billets. On Saturday the m%|eh will be played, and on Sunday the-team will return to Temuka.

The secretary presented the bal-ance-sheet of the Club’s annual ball, which- showed a very creditable balance to profit, and this was very much appreciated as the Club’s funds were at a very low ebb.
