GREATEST CREDITOR IN HISTORY. SOME REMARKABLE' -FIGURES. WASHINGTON, Jan. 9. The annual report of the Coptroller of the Currency shows that where as the United States was a debtor nation in 1914, it was now the greatest creditor nation in history. A total of 31,200 banks can marshal cash and credits amounting to over 58,200,000,000 dollars, and the gold holdings exceed 3,000,000,000 dollars, approximately one-third of the world’s supply. The total of the money in the United States is 8,027,395,000 dollars. "
