ULIMAROA IN A HURRICANE.
WELLINGTON, Jan. 5. The Ulimaroa, encountered a hurricane on Monday and Tuesday. The engines were put at hall speed, and heavy seas washed out the officers' quarters on the top deck, smashed the deck and stern lights, and the canvas screens on the bridge and decks were blown to rib'f>ons.
