WEDDING.
A quiet but pretty wedding, look place in Tcnuiba on Christmas Day, «hen Miss Ethel Muriel Claridge, only daughter of Mr and Mrs Chas. Claridge, Temuha, was •married to Private doseph toward M woklhead, second son of Mr John Woodhcad, Swamp Hoad, Teinuka. The ceremony took place in Sr. Peter’s Church, and was performed by the Rev, A. IE Norris. The bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr Walter Claridge, wore a pretty dress, of white embroidered voile, and *ho customary veil of orange-blossom and laue veil. The bridesmaid, ; Miss ■’Violet Claridge, niece of the bride, also wore a dross of white voile, with pink hat. Both carried shower bouquets. Air Sydney Claridge, a brother of 'the bride, was the best, man. After the ceremony the -wedding party were photographed at Mir Tidwell s, and then proceeded to the homo of the bride’s parents, where the breakfast was partaken of. In the oveiiing the young friends of the happy couple were entertained. The bridegroom is on his filial leave, and the wedding was a very quiet one, on account of a recent, bereavement in his family.
