TENNIS,
On Saturday last at Temuka a most enjoyable tennis match was played against a team from Timaru. The vfsitors arrived by a drag. The match was a very close one, some of the sets being most exciting. The match ended in a win for the Temuka, team by 6 points The ladies of the Temuka Club dispensed miost acceptable afternoon tea. The following are tke detailed scores : Tk. Tu. W. Pearse v.
