The Society is a very strong one in the British Isles, alsiv in America, Australia, and New Zealand, and as the rules provide for reciprocity, a member can claim its privileges at any place where a branch of the Society exists. bers of the Parent Lodge in Tinmrii, including Mr i\l. H. Donnelly, District Deputy, who opened the branch at Geraldine, and who had motored out from Timarn. During the evening the presentation of a gold sovereign case was made to Hr James Feely, as a marie of members appreciation of the careful and energetic manner in which he had carried out his duties ns secretary, and ho responded in a few well

chosen words. A handsomely framed Past President's certificate, bearing the embllms and mottoes of the Society, indicnive of Faith, Hope, and Charity, mr was presented to Mr J. Kennedy, the f first president of the branch, to which Mr Kennedy made n very happy acknowledgment. The banquet was served in the usual capable manner for which Mr and Mrs Mullen are. noted. A lengthy toast list was gone iliroueh, including that of “The Host and Hostess,” and a most enjoyable evening was terminated o' '.it 10 o'clock.
