MASONIC.
LODGE ST. GEOItGE, TEMUKA,
The installation ,of Bro. Andrew Calder as W.M., of Lodge St. Gcorgu, Temuka, and the investiture of his officers took place at the Lodgeroom last evening. There was a .very attendance of brethren, visitors coming from Chris tchuroh, Ashburton, Baimerslon South, Oamaru, Timuru, Gcraldine, and Winchester. The ceremony was .performed by Most-Worship-ful iivo. F. C. Binns, p. Pro. G.M., assisted by Worshipful Bro. Alfred Budd, G. 8.8., Acting Grand Director of Ceremonies, and other Grand Lodge : officers. The following otlicers were installed :•- W.M., Bro. Andrew Calder; 1.M.P., Wor. Bio. J as. McLean; S.W., Bro. W. F. Evans; J.W., Bro. W. Glanville; Treasurer, Bro. W. 11. Brown; "Secro tary, Wor. Bro. M. McLeod, P.M.; 8.C., Wor Bro. E. Cutten, P.G.S. of W. : Organist, Wor. Br 0 . W. I'. Ko'it-l-dge, P.M. ; S.D., Bro. U. Macaulav ; •Ll'.. Bro. Br J.IT. Crawahaw ; 1.G., bro. |). Shaw ; 'Tyler, Bro. E. Chapman. W. B. McLeod was presented wild a jewel.
• \fter the ceremony the brethren adlourned to the Volunteer Hall, where Ibo. 11. Lee, host of tho Royal Hotel. "rovjdod a sumptuous banquet, and tli'- usual loyal and masonic toasts were duly honoured, and everything pn.--«-cd off to 'the entire satisfaction of .ill concerned.
I ables were laid for about 90 guests, iiid the decorations were really beautiful. They did infinite credit to tho Misses Lee and their assistants. '
