Light Weights—tj. Thomas ,(Palmersson North) beat G. Martin (Christchurch) ; R. Mnzey (Christchurch) beat C. Wright (Christchurch, in this contest R. C. Ross (Dunedin) had to scratch owing to influenza. Midxdle Weights—J. A. Cox (America) beat J. Shaw (Christchurch) ; A. Nash (Onmnru bent J. Brcnnard (Timaru) ; P. W. Ollivor (Chrislwhurch) boat C. IT. Findlay (Christchurch). Heavy Weight—l). Mahoney (Christchurch) beat IV. Bowden (Lyttelton). July 2-1. TV- Canterbury Boxing Association's Championship meeting was concluded to-night. The results were Middle Weights, semi-final J. A. Cox (America) beat P. M. Officer (Christchurch). Final—Cox beat Nadi (Onmaru). Li gilt Weights, semi-final—Colquhoiia (Christchurch) bent (Thomas (PalmerHon North). The latter had to retire at the end of the first spell owing to an injured knee. Final— R. M azey beat Colquhonn. Feather-weights, final—Tresize beat Gould. Bantam-weights, final—Waller beat L. Watson. Heavy-weights—.Mahoney beat Cox.
