There was to have been a wedding at one of the Wellington churches on but for reason or other when the party arrived at the church the clergyman was not in attendance, and, moreover* could not be found. To escape from a somewhat awkward dilemma, the whole party drove to the office of the Registrar of Marriages and sought his services. He proved equal to the occasion, and the wedding was performed with full rites, as prescribed by law on such occasions. RELIEF AFTER SIX YEARS.— Mrs M. A.
