SUPREME COURT.
AUCKLAND, February 20 The trial of William Henry Essex, on charges in connection with the Waihi slimes case, concluded to-day. The jury after more than one hour s deliberation, returned a verdict of guilty. Accused was sentenced to one year's imprisonment.
