The report of the work of the Wellington Harbour Board for the year ended September 30th was submitted at Thurs<bi> N meeting of the Board. The inward foreign goods received during the 12 months wore 101,525 tons, against 998,298 tons for the previous year; inward colonial amt coasted goods, 10,383 tons, against 90,252 tons last ye'ir. In the outward trade there were larger increases; foreign exports racked a total of 41,769 tons, against 23,404, an increase of 27 per cent; outward c -lonia.! and costal shipments grew from 64,730 tons to 70,526. Wool and lu-mp show an increase of 34,5-lS bales. The inwards tonnage by steamer was 1,795.738. Whooping Cough if neglected, leads to more serious diseases.
