Auelaipb, Oct. 26. At the South Australian Cycling Association Carnival the half-mile scratch race resulted *»« follows :—Zimmerman 1, Parsons, 2, Courtney 3; won comfortably by a couple of wheels; time—lmin 6 l-sth .see, which is ail Australian record. Five mile scratch race—Parsons 1, Zimmerman 2; six started; Parsons led to the home stretch where Zmmermaii rushed to the trout, but Parsons, with a magnificent spurt overhauled him, and amid great excitement won by about four yards. The pace was a crackedr through out and the other starters wore beaten off: time ; time—l2miu 20sec. The crowd wore so excited that they rushed the ground and carried Parsonsoff in triumph. Parsons also won the Mile Open Handicap, Zimmerman being scratched for this race and also for the Two Mile as he is not in good form. He is suffering from the intense heal. The Mile Championship of South Australia was won bj‘ Bulck, B ker 2, Gully 3 ; time 27 2-sth sec.
