A rather serious accident happened on Saturday last at Mr E. Mitchell’s farm, Waitohi. One of hia sous, named Eli, the aged 14 years, was driving a roller, when reins got under the tail ofone of the horses and it, being a young one, played up, and the whole team bolted. The lad was thrown out fa front of the roller, which passed over his back. He was carried home and attended to by Dr Hayes, and is now doing as well as can be expected.
