ST. SAVIOUR’S SUNDAY SCHOOL, TEMUKA.
The annual distribution of prizes in connection with the above Sunday School took place on Sunday afternoon last. Owing to the bad weather there was not the attendance of parents and friends as on former occasions. Previous to the prize-giving the superintendent, Mr Pinckney, made a few remarks relative to the work of the children and the marking of the registers. Mr Pinckney (then distributed the prizes as follows ; Standard VI. (Teacher Miss Lemon) — Girls : Annie Moßratney 1; boys: Ernest Boulter 1, John Beeby 2, Linnet Hobbs 3. Standard V. (teacher Mrs Farley)—Girls : Edie Oliver 1, Eliza Boulter 2, Ellen Edgar 3 ; boys : Willie Mcßratney 1, Charlie Neville 2, Arthur Claridge 3. Standard IV.—Girls (teacher Miss Wigga) : Annie Nicholas 1, Mary iVJehrtons 2, Maggie Edgar 3; boys (teacher Miss Ellen Pilbrow) : Harry Lee 1, James Bertie and John Edgar (equal) 2. Standard lll.—Girls (teacher Miss Edie Lee) : Amy Hooper 1, Emily Hooper 2 ; boys (teacher Mr G. A. Opie): Charlie Boulter 1, Arthur Surridge 2, John Leo 3. Standard ll.—Girls; A. division (teacher Miss Harriett Ackroyd), Lizzie Mehrtens 1, Maud Radford 2, Ella Nicholas 3 ; B Division (teacher Miss Eva Greaves), Lily Lee 1, Ellen Goodeve 2, Annie Edgar 3; boys: A Division (teacher Miss Ethel Patrick), Albert Claridge 1, Frank Davey 2, Arthur Larcombe 3; B Division (teacher Miss Lottie Gaze), Willie Surridge 1, John Binley 2, Harry Boulter 3. Standard I. —Girls (teacher Miss A.
