AT A SPECIAL MEETING of the Geraldine County Council, hold on the 9th day of February, 1893, a 'Resolution (passed on the 12th January) was adopted Ratepayers, praying that the district defined in the Special Order (copies of such definition being open for inspection at the Office of the Geraldine Road Board, Geraldine, and at the Office of the Geraldine Council, Church Street, Timaru), be declared a Water Supply District in the terms of ‘ The Water Supply Act, 1891,’ under the name of £ The Four Peaks Water Supply District,’ as from the 13th day of April, 1893/ and will be confitraed at a meeting of the County Council, to be held on SATURDAY, the 18th day of March, 1893.
