THE HUNT CLUB STEEPLECHASES.

The South Canterbury Hunt Club held a Steeplechase Meeting at Saltwater Creek on Thursday, when, considering the wretched weather, the attendance was very good. The arrangements were very good and the office bearers carried out their duties most satisfactorily. Results : Maiden Steeplechase, of 15 sovs ; weight for age ; about 2 miles. Miss M.
