The companies will then concede 12 honrs a day and wages will be reduced, drivers to 6sj and eondnctors to 4a, The employees accepted.
Judd 14. An immense meeting of laundresses will bo held in Hyde Park on Sunday,' when resolutions will be moved, urging shorter bourse Brisbane, June IS. The strike committee acknowledge they have been repulsed but not defeated. The men will probably resume work in a; few days.
