Mr Cotton, who waa lost at Rotorna on Thursday, was found and taken to Rotorua by Mr Dansy, who came on him about 15 miles from Rotorua on the Taupo road, after all the other searchers had left for Rotorua. Special collections were made at Weilington ov Sunday in most of the City churches for the Hospitals and Charitable Aid Institutions in the Oity. Ten churches contributed £275 10s 2|d. Collections will be made in the remaining churches next Sunday. A man named James Milne has been committed for trial at Auckland for stealing a gold watch. He had only been out of gaol 22 hours when he committed the robbery.
