GERALDINE COCNfY COUNCIL. SPECIAL ORDER. to this Council by LANDOWNERS and SETTLERS of that Portion of the County lying between the ORART and RANGITATA RIVERS, praying that the said portion of the County may be constituted a WaterSupply District for Irrigation purposes, in accordance with the provisions of the CountießAct 1876 and Amendment Act 1883, It is hereby RESOLVED that the SAID DISTRICT be CONSTITUTED a WATER-SUPPLY DISTRICT in ».ccor dance with the said Act, under the name of "The Orari and Raugit.ta WaterSupply District," and in accordance with the Description and Definition of the District set forth in the said petition ; and it is also resolved that this Resolution shall be deemed to be a Special Order duly made under Section 17 of the Counties Act 1876 Amendment Act 1885, and ehull come into force on the Eirßt Day of January, 1886.—Carried.
