THE EASTERN CRISIS.

London, Nov. 24. The Servians are retiring to the frontier, to await the arrival of the second reserve which ia being called out. i Nov. 25. The Bulgarians have succeeded in driving the Servians across the frontier. A panic has ensued among the latter, and they are now retreating, upon Nishi. Telegrams from the seat of war announce that the Servian troops have evacuated Bulgaria. The Times, in an article this morning, announces that it is probable that King Milan will abdicate, and Austria occupy Servia, St. Petersburg, Nov. 24. It is announced that Russia has pr< posed to the Powers, that they sh«l intervene with a view to potting a ato] to hostilities in Servia and Bulgaria. Belgrade, Nov. 24. An official despatch, received from tl >■ seat of war announces , that the Servjai forces under King Milan yesterday made an attack on the entrenched position held by the Bulgarians in the vicinity of Dragoman'*Pass. Servians being repulsed, and heinicompelled to retire upon Zaubrok and Tru, Later, Following up the defeat of the Ser vian forces yesterday, Prince Alexander of Bulgaria has occupied the-town of Zaubrok, causing a division of the Servian army, which had retired thither, to retreat to Pirot, a town alittle distance north-west of Zaubrok, Sofia, Nov. 24, The Servian forces made an attack on Widdin to-day, but were repulsed. Constantinople, Nov. 25. Acting in accordance with the request of the Porte and the Russian Govern-'' ment, the Powers have proposed an armistice to King Milan, io which be has agreed, fie further offered to conclude peace with’ Bulgaria, but Prince Alexander to listen to any overtures until of Widdin is evacuated by then Servians, and an indemnity fixed upon as compensation for the violation of Bulgarian territory.
