TEMUKA RIFLE VOLUNTEERS.

The annual prize firing of the Company took place yesterday at the butts. There was a fair muster, and the firing was average. Major Young, Assisted by Corporal Uprichard, acted as marker. The followiog are the Bcore3 :

Tub Bam.. A ball was held in the Volunteer Hall in the eTening. The hall was splendidly decorated with evergreens and flowers. The attendance was large, and everything passed off very successfully. Mr P. Coira catered to the satisfaction of all present.
