The cholera epidemic at Mecca is increasing rapidly. The number of deaths has risen to 200 daily, and ail the recently arrived pilgrims have loft the city in consequence of the outbreak.

News is to hand that a boat containing two sailors who had been speared, has been found on Caincroes Island, off the north coast of Queensland. It is believed tie boat was attacked and its occupants murlered by the natives.
