From Butler and Devan, asking for an extension of time of two months to complete their contract. —Granted. From S. Sibley, asking for deposit on his contract to be refunded. Mam-is, applying for compensation for using their land for the pubic traffic v\,i\Q the bridge was being repaired. , Resolved that, as the Board had compo: anted Mr Norton for the same, the Maoris were recommended to apply to him on the subject. Mr Colville attended to ask tho Board for compensation through loss of t-'me, in consequence of not bein&j supplied wiih timber by the Board. Mr McColl interviewed <3io Board, and complained that tise Surveyor would not grant a payment on accnunt of the work ho web carrying out fcr a cenh'aetor named Kennedy.
