OP GERALDINE. Gentlemen, At the request of a number of influential residents in your district, I have consented to allow myself to bo put in nomination for your representation in the General Assembly. I am by no medjns /Ist ranger to your district, having been tJLA space of some years connected wth journalism in .North and South Caiacijmry. I have a thorough knowledge of your district, and anirjtimate acquaintance with the requirements of the locality ; and my suitability to I'epresent you is not lessened by having been engaged for some years in agricultural pursuits. As a representative of an important district in Parliament, during its last two sessions, I may, without egotism, claim to have been one of the most successful among the men who thought much of the interest of then* district, while they were not forgetful of their duties to the colony at large. My politics are decidedly Liberal. I am in favor of a franchise extended to residential suffrage ; a re-distribution of representative Triennial Parliaments; readjustment of taxationqjand Liberal land legislation. In to this and other subjects I cannot here go at length into, but I shall avail myself of an opportunity to do so before the polling-day. I am, Gentlemen, Yours'obediently, ' HENRY FELDWICK
