COOK STRAIT AIR ROUTE opening trips fully booked. better than schedule times. WELLINGTON - NELSON - BLENHEIM By Telegraph—Press Association., Nelson, Last Night. Cook Strait Airways were overbooked for the inaugural flight of .the service from Nelson to Wellington this morning, and also for the 4.30 p.m. return from Wellington via Blenheim. Intermediate trips during the day were also satisfactory.
The aeroplanes arrived at Wellington before scheduled time. The first machine, which left Nelson at 7.45, arrived four minutes early, and the second machine, which left Blenheim at 9.40, arrived at 10.5,' five minutes early.
