TERRIFIC BUSH FIRES
NEW SOUTH WALES FORESTS. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. Sydney, Dec. 21. Terrific fires are sweeping through the State forests in the Narrabri district. A party of men returned to Narrabri after a week’s continuous battle with the flames, thoroughly exhausted. About 7000 acres have been burnt out. The damage is estimated at about £1,000,000.
