EXAMINATION RESULTS
WAVERLEY CONVENT PUPILS. Following are results received by the sisters of the Waverley Convent from North Sydney after the recent examinations:— Book-keeping: Diploma grade: Alex Morrison, 70 per cent.; intermediate grade, Arthur M. O’Leary 73 per cent., Phyllis Muriel McGorrery, 73 per cent., Mary Patricia Bourke, 73 per cent., John Charteris. 68 per cent.; elementary grade, Gus Hurley, 95 per cent. Shorthand; Diploma grade, Alex Morrison, 68 per cent.; intermediate grade, Maty Patricia Bourke, 80 per cent.; John Charteris, 78 per cent.; Phyllis Muriel McGorrery, 70 per cent.; elementary grade, Gus Hurley, 71 per cent.. Typewriting: Diploma grade, Alex Morrison, 82 per cent.; intermediate grade, Mary Patricia Bourke, 95 per cent.; Phyllis Muriel McGorrery, 91 per cent.; John Charteris, 89 per cent.; Arthur O’Leary, 79 per cent,; elementary grade, Gus Hur'ley. 62 per cent. Those obtaining 80 per cent, passed with honours and those obtaining 60 per cent, were given a pass.
