Y.W.-Y.M.C.A. WORLD FAIR. RESULTS OF COMPETITIONS. The gross takings at the New Plymouth Y.M.-Y.W.C.A. fair, which concluded a two-day session last night, were £BO. Until accounts are received it will not be possible to estimate the nett receipts. Results of competitions held in conjunction with the fair were: Women’s pyjamas, Miss A. Harris; box of chocolates for games of skill, Robert Davie; large box of chocolates for competitions, Miss D. Brown; garden seat, Miss Jepson; baby’s cradle and doll, Mr. J. H. Ledgerwood. The last was an unexpected success for Mr. Ledgerwood, who reacted by donating tire cradle and doll for sale.
